A good share of appointments are requested when the salon is closed: at night, on Sundays, during the lunch break. If people can only book by phone, someone else gets those appointments.
What you decide
In Settings › Online booking you turn on “Allow online booking” and set:
- How often times are offered: every 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
- The minimum notice for booking today, so nobody turns up in ten minutes.
- The maximum window: how many days in advance people can book.
Where the free times come from
From your calendar: salon opening hours, shifts, breaks, holidays and the gap between services. There is no second calendar to keep up to date.
Your rules, accepted when booking
In the booking terms you set up to how many hours before an appointment it can be changed or cancelled online, how many minutes late you accept and what happens if someone does not turn up. The client accepts them when booking.
You confirm
Appointments booked online come into the calendar as “Pending”. You confirm them, and the client sees the status in “My appointments”.
