A two-hour colour isn't two hours of busy hands. Between application and rinsing there are 30 or 40 minutes in which the colourist can cut, style or start another colour. Most calendars don't know that; this one does.
What stylist's free time is
Colour and treatment services include a processing stretch (the colour developing, the dryer…). That stretch shows striped inside the appointment and, while it lasts, someone else can be booked with the same professional without the calendar treating it as an overlap.
How to adjust it
- The default value is set in each service's details.
- On each appointment you can make it longer or shorter: a root touch-up isn't the same as full bleaching.
- Online booking also takes it into account when offering free times.
An example
Colour at 10:00, with processing from 10:30 to 11:05. A 30-minute men's cut fits in that stretch. With two colours a day per professional, that's two more services without making the working day longer.
Start with cautious processing times and adjust them after a couple of weeks of seeing how your mornings really go.
