A paper diary takes anything you write in it, including two appointments in the same slot. TonoLab's calendar does the opposite: it checks every appointment before saving it.
How to book an appointment
- Open “Appointments” and choose the day and the view (day or week).
- Tap “New appointment” or click a free slot in the professional's column.
- Choose client, service, professional and time. The end time and price are worked out automatically from the service.
The warnings that save you headaches
If the appointment can't be saved, the form tells you why in red. The most common reasons:
- It overlaps another appointment or doesn't leave the gap between services.
- It falls during the professional's break or outside their shift.
- The salon is closed that day or it's a bank holiday.
- That professional doesn't do the chosen service.
The status, at a glance
The colour of each appointment shows whether it's pending, confirmed, in service or completed. Tap an appointment to change, confirm, complete or cancel it. Those that come in through online booking arrive as “Pending” so you can confirm them yourself.
