Product sales are the easiest income to lose track of: they're charged along with the service, sometimes not even noted down, and at the end of the month nobody knows how much it came to. Putting them on the service receipt changes that.
One receipt
In the POS, the services catalogue and the products catalogue are on the same screen. You add the shampoo to the haircut receipt and charge everything together, with a single payment method.
Stock updates itself
Every unit sold is taken off your stock. When a product reaches its minimum, it is flagged and shows up in the notifications and in the suggested order.
Ideas that work
- At the basin, recommend what you're using, and keep that product in view on the counter.
- Check the client record to see what they took last time: “Have you still got some hair mask?” sells more than any poster.
- Use loyalty points as a reason: “With this you reach the discount.”
