How to build a service catalogue that keeps everything else in order

In TonoLab the service catalogue isn't a price list: it's what gets booked in the calendar, what gets charged at the POS and what your clients see on the public page. If it's done well, everything else runs itself.

What each service has

Three decisions that save trouble

  1. Be realistic about length. A colour that “takes 90 minutes” but always runs to two hours throws the whole afternoon out.
  2. Keep separate what's sold separately. “Cut” and “Cut + styling” as two services give better analytics than a price changed by hand.
  3. Don't delete what you stop offering: switch it off. It can no longer be booked, but its history is kept.
In Settings › Team you choose which services each professional does. The calendar won't let you book a service with someone who doesn't do it.
